Weekend Adventure Walks at BigpawsSmallpawsOutdoors are premium, small‑group outings for dogs who thrive on exploration, enrichment and variety. These aren’t standard walks — they’re structured, behaviour‑focused 4‑hour adventures in woodlands, fields, nature trails and other natural environments. Dogs enjoy natural enrichment, varied terrain, confidence‑building experiences, calm social time with compatible dogs and safe, structured exploration. Transport to and from adventure locations is included within the 4‑hour service time, ensuring a smooth, safe and stress‑free experience. This service runs on weekends only and is perfect for dogs who need more than a normal walk. Adventure Outings are ideal for energetic dogs who love exploring, dogs who thrive on long, stimulating outings, dogs who benefit from natural enrichment, dogs who get bored with repetitive neighbourhood routes and dogs needing confidence‑building experiences. They suit single dogs, multi‑dog households and compatible neighbour or family dogs. Your dog enjoys a full 4‑hour adventure in nature, mental stimulation through scent and terrain, confidence‑building exposure to new places, physical exercise tailored to the group, calm socialisation and a break from routine. Most dogs return home tired, fulfilled and emotionally balanced. For owners, this service offers peace of mind, a premium weekend experience and a calmer dog for the rest of the day. To join Adventure Outings, dogs must be comfortable around other dogs, walk safely on‑lead or long‑line, wear secure collars or harnesses and be up‑to‑date with vaccinations. A free meet and greet is required before joining to ensure suitability and group compatibility. Neighbour or family dogs can join if they are a good match. Safety is always the priority. Outings include secure equipment checks, long‑line use for safe freedom, route planning based on weather and terrain, avoiding livestock or unsafe areas, hydration and rest breaks, constant monitoring of body language and safe transport when travelling to locations. Dogs must be able to coexist calmly, walk safely on‑lead or long‑line, respond to basic cues, cope with new environments and follow the structure of the outing. If a dog struggles, I may recommend a slower introduction, Private Walks or the Loyalty Leash Programme. Pricing: Weekend Adventure Walk (4 hours): £50 per dog Additional Dogs (same household): £40 per dog Neighbour/Family Dog Add‑On: £50 per dog Enrich & Explore!
Cancellation Policy
To ensure the smooth operation of BigpawsSmallpawsOutdoors, clients may cancel or reschedule this service at any time, provided at least 24 hours’ notice is given before the scheduled Adventure Walk. This ensures smooth planning and keeps everything running efficiently. Any late cancellation or late reschedule will be charged at the full Adventure Walk rate. This policy prevents last‑minute disruptions and maintains the smooth operation of BigpawsSmallpawsOutdoors. 1. Meet & Greet Requirement A free meet and greet is required before joining Adventure Walks to ensure your dog’s behaviour, confidence level, and group compatibility are fully understood. 2. Behaviour, Safety & Management Adventure Walks involve small‑group outings in natural environments. Dogs must be able to coexist calmly, walk safely on‑lead or long‑line, and respond to basic cues. If at any point your dog’s behaviour or current management creates a safety risk for me, the dog, the group, or anyone else, I will pause Adventure Walks and advise the training or management changes needed. Once your dog is safe, stable, and properly managed, Adventure Walks can continue. 3. Service Scope Adventure Walks are structured, behaviour‑focused 4‑hour outings designed to provide natural enrichment, varied terrain, confidence‑building experiences, calm socialisation, and safe exploration. Transport to and from adventure locations is included within the 4‑hour service time. These outings do not replace full training sessions unless arranged separately. 4. Payments All Adventure Walks must be paid in full before or at the time of booking. Late cancellations or missed outings are charged at the full rate. Additional dogs from the same household or compatible neighbour/family dogs are charged according to the pricing structure. 5. Environment & Access Clients must ensure safe access to the property for pick‑up and drop‑off, and provide any necessary instructions for entry, alarms, gates, or equipment. Unsafe environments or equipment may result in the outing being paused or cancelled. 6. Safety During Outings Safety is always the priority. Adventure Walks include secure equipment checks, long‑line use for safe freedom, route planning based on weather and terrain, avoiding livestock or unsafe areas, hydration and rest breaks, and constant monitoring of body language. Dogs must wear secure collars or harnesses and be up‑to‑date with vaccinations.
