• All dogs must be disclosed honestly regarding behaviour, reactivity, medical needs, and temperament.

• BigpawsSmallpawsOutdoors reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services if a dog’s behaviour poses a safety risk.                                                                                                                                                   

Health Requirements                                                                                                 

• Dogs must be fit, healthy, and up to date with vaccinations, flea/tick treatment, and worming.

• Any medical conditions must be disclosed before booking.                                                                                                           

Weather & Environmental Conditions                                                                         

• Services may be adjusted for extreme weather (heat, storms, ice, etc.) to ensure safety.

• Alternative arrangements or shorter sessions may be provided where appropriate.                                                                     

Off‑Lead Permissions                                                                                                       

• Dogs will only be walked off‑lead with the owner’s written consent and only in safe, suitable environments.

• While every effort is made to ensure safety, BigpawsSmallpawsOutdoors is not liable for injury, illness, or loss resulting from circumstances beyond our control

 

3. Booking Policy                                                                                                                                                                          ​

• All bookings are made through the enquiry form using the Contact buttons on the website.

• Bookings are confirmed directly by BigpawsSmallpawsOutdoors once details have been reviewed.

• This website does not process payments or create auto‑renewing subscriptions.

• Payment instructions will be provided once your booking is confirmed.

4. Service Policy

Dog Walking

                                                                   

• Walks are structured, behaviour‑led, and tailored to each dog’s needs.

• Group walks are only offered to dogs who are suitable for social walking environments.

• Solo walks are designed for dogs needing one‑to‑one support, structure, or confidence building.                                                                                                                                                                       

Dog Training

                                                        

• Every training plan is personalised and shaped around your dog’s behaviour, helping them build confidence, clarity, and calm routines.

• Owners must follow guidance and practice between sessions to support progress.

• Training outcomes vary depending on the dog’s history, environment, and consistency at home.

5.Cancellation Policy

​

To ensure the smooth operation of BigpawsSmallpawsOutdoors, clients may cancel or reschedule a service at any time, provided at least 24 hours’ notice is given before the scheduled service. In the event of a late cancellation or reschedule (less than 24 hours’ notice), the client will be responsible for the full payment of the scheduled service. This minimises last‑minute cancellations and supports reliable scheduling for all clients.                                                                                                     

6. Refund Policy

​BigpawsSmallpawsOutdoors does not offer refunds for completed services. Refunds are only applicable when a service cannot be delivered due to circumstances on our side and alternative arrangements cannot be agreed upon. If a client cancels a service with less than 24 hours’ notice, the full service fee remains payable and is not eligible for refund. If you believe a refund request is justified due to exceptional circumstances, please contact us directly so we can review the situation.

 

7. Key Handling Policy

 

BigpawsSmallpawsOutdoors takes the security of your home and property seriously.                                                                                                            

• Keys are stored securely and never labelled with your name or address.

• Access codes or lockbox details are kept confidential and used only for scheduled services.

• Keys are only used for agreed services and never shared with third parties.

• If a key is lost or damaged while in our care, we will inform you immediately and cover the cost of a replacement key or lock change where appropriate.

• Keys will be returned to you upon request or when services end.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             

8. Liability Waiver

 

By booking a service with BigpawsSmallpawsOutdoors, you acknowledge and agree to the following:​​

• While every effort is made to ensure safety, BigpawsSmallpawsOutdoors is not liable for injury, illness, loss, or damage arising from circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to: ​

• Environmental hazards

• Third‑party actions

• Pre‑existing medical conditions                                                                                                  

• unpredictable behaviour from your dog or other dogs

• ​Owners remain responsible for any damage or injury caused by their dog to property, people, or other animals.

​​

• I will never allow a dog off‑lead without written consent and a demonstrated safe recall, both with and without distractions, or unless we are actively working on recall training together. Off‑lead time is always based on safety, suitability, and the dog’s individual behaviour.

• In emergencies, we may seek veterinary care for your dog. Owners are responsible for all associated costs.
