It’s important that handlers have a clear grasp of the training methods we’ll be using, as these sessions are focused on refining skills rather than teaching from scratch. For owners who are still building confidence or need more support, I offer flexible package deals to help develop consistency, understanding, and effective handling. These sessions give you the tools to continue training successfully at home while ensuring your dog receives clear, structured guidance. Together, we work to elevate your training journey and help your dog become a well‑behaved, responsive companion. Keep in mind this service is only available after an evaluation has been completed with your dog.
Cancellation Policy
To ensure the smooth operation of BigpawsSmallpawsOutdoors, clients may cancel or reschedule this service at any time, provided at least 24 hours’ notice is given before the scheduled In‑Person Dog Training session. This ensures smooth planning and keeps everything running efficiently. Any late cancellation or late reschedule will be charged at the full session rate. This policy prevents last‑minute disruptions and maintains the smooth operation of BigpawsSmallpawsOutdoors. 1. Service Requirement All new training clients must complete a Dog Training Evaluation before booking In‑Person Dog Training sessions. This ensures your dog’s behaviour, environment, and goals are fully understood before training begins. 2. Behaviour, Safety & Management I work with dogs of all behaviour levels, and sessions are structured to improve communication, confidence, and control. If your dog shows behaviour that requires a different approach, the session will be adjusted to keep everyone safe while still maintaining progress. 3. Service Scope In‑Person Dog Training focuses on refining skills, improving obedience, and strengthening the bond between you and your dog. Sessions include practical guidance, structured exercises, and clear follow‑up support. These sessions do not replace evaluations or behaviour packages unless arranged separately. 4. Payments All In‑Person Dog Training sessions must be paid in full before or at the time of booking. Late cancellations or missed sessions are charged at the full session rate, and no discounts apply. 5. Environment & Access I provide the training environment, equipment, and structure needed for each session. Clients only need to ensure I can access the property safely when sessions take place at their home. 6. Safety During Sessions Safety is always the priority. Sessions include secure equipment checks, controlled handling, structured exercises, and close monitoring of body language. Dogs must wear secure collars and be up‑to‑date with vaccinations.
